This report reflects the shorter reporting period as we adjust to the revised financial year arrangements approved at our AGM when the members resolved to change the company operational year to coincide with our funding from the Australian Government,
This past 12 months have been a watershed year for Industry Capability Network Limited (ICNL), in facing challenges resulting from the uncertainty of our ongoing financial position.
The rapid development of markets both locally and globally has meant that the Network’s services have continued to be strongly sought and our delivery continues to be extremely well regarded in the highest circles.
The end of a financial year is the perfect time to reflect on business outcomes, hurdles and achievements of the past year. We have also had the opportunity to reflect on how far ICN has travelled since inception in 1995.
Major highlights for the year included the Minister’s announcement of an extra $8.5 million over four years to boost Australian industry participation in supply opportunities and the subsequent engagement of six National Sector Managers within ICN.
